Simplot is an international food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. Every year, Simplot holds a three-day conference and after-party for their sales team. The theme for this year’s conference was, “20/20 Customer Focus.” Simplot developed a red and blue logo design to resemble 3-D glasses which serves as a nod to their “Customer Focus” tagline.
We were tasked with the opportunity of developing and producing their pre-show mailer for this years conference. Inside the mailer was a printed announcement, custom branded ReturnMe giveaway, and an invite to the after-party. The exterior of the mailer was designed with a blue and red collage made up of scenic images of San Diego, the city where the conference is being held. We took a creative approach in designing the inside of the mailer and created a 3-D or anaglyph design containing the announcement which made it an interactive piece. In order for the recipient to read the announcement, they had to put on the 20/20 branded 3-D glasses contained in the mailer. The giveaway was a custom ReturnMe luggage tag branded with the same design as the exterior of the mailer. To top it all off, the after-party invite was printed with gold foil on a black soft touch card to represent the party’s theme which was the Roaring 20’s!
